I’m Nicole- plant lady, artist, maker, vintage-lover, and passion behind Fern & Co. So glad you’re here!

     5 years ago I began working as a florist and found myself surrounded by so many pretty things. I loved the beautiful, rich colors and variety of florals I was surrounded with. I was Intrigued by the shapes and textures of the plant foliage, learning the different care needs of each one. It was all new to me, and I loved it! I knew I had found a new passion. I quickly carried this into my home where I currently have a growing collection of houseplants aspiring to jungle-level greatness. I absolutely love the life and energy they bring to my home, and as any plant lover knows, the feeling of joy and accomplishment when a new leaf comes in is unmatched. Nothing says “I rock!” like happy, healthy houseplants.

     I’ve also always been a maker and a doer, thriving most as a creative both personally and professionally. Although I’ve always loved painting, in the recent years I have found a reignited passion for working with oils. I’m reminded each time I pick up a brush of the freedom and adventure of bringing what inspires me most to life, speaking to and from my heart. I now create colorful, upbeat oil paintings capturing my favorite- plants and flowers!

     Fast forward 5 years, I decided to turn my plant hobby and artistic ways into something that I can share with the world. So, I spread my wings and created Fern & Co. I believe that life should be lived automatically and on purpose, and my goal is to inspire you to do just that!
